Rajasthan festival constitute of fairs and festival. They form the most significant part of Rajasthan culture. The Desert Jewel of India – Rajasthan looks ravishing at the time of cultural festival.
At the time of celebration the desert sparkles with beautiful lightening and extravagant colors.

One can experience the love for colors and cheerfulness the people of Rajasthan have their fairs and festivals. Rajasthani practice numerous traditional festivals but some of the fairs and festivals have recently been introduced by the tourism administration to reveal the legends of Rajasthan.


Camel Festival (January):
The camel festival is held in the state of Bikaner Tour. It is the only desert city for camel breeding. Events like camel dances and camel races are held.

Desert Festival, Jaisalmer Tour (Jan-Feb.):
One of the most significant festivals of Rajasthan is the Desert festival celebrated with great joy at Jaisalmer Tour. Rajasthani folk performers perform their traditional skills like ballad singers, puppeteers, musicians and snake charmers. One of the most common animals found in Rajasthan – camels also perform various arts. There are camel races; camel dance, camel polo and a competition like choosing Mr. Desert, best dress competition for camels, and turban tying are organized. In the month of March and April an Elephant Festival is held in Jaipur. In this period of time, the ‘festivals of color’ – Holi is played with great zeal. You would also get to watch numerous elephant sports.

Gangaur Festival (March-April) :
This festival marks the onset of Lord Shiva escorting his bride home. It is a 18 days long festival accompanied by miscellaneous activities.

Chaksu Fair :
People from the rural state of Jaipur Tour have a get together in all the modes of transport like tractors, trolleys, and jeeps. This is one of the most colorful events of the Rajasthani’s.

Mewar Festival,Udaipur Tour (March-April) :
This festival in the state of Udaipur Tour marks the onset of the Spring Season. People assemble and enjoy the festivals with great enthusiasm by singing and dancing. There is a lot of firework, and every person from kids to adults everybody enjoys this festival.

Pushkar Fair:
The festival of Pushkar is a festival of treasure for the people of Rajasthan. The festival is held in the month of November in a temple in the state of Ajmer Tour. It is a temple of the Brahmas located at the banks of a lake.

The people of Rajasthan celebrate numerous other fairs like the Brij Festival, Summer Festival, Urs Ajmer Tour Sharif, Baneshwar Fair and many more.
